Google has presented the new Pixel 8 series phones, which have a 50-megapixel main camera and the Tensor G3 processor for artificial intelligence, improving interaction with the assistant and photo and video editing. The series includes two models, standard and Pro, with a similar design to the previous series. The Pixel 8 has a satin metallic finish and brushed glass in various colors, while the Pixel 8 Pro features a matte glass back cover framed in brushed aluminum in different colors.

Both models use a new 50-megapixel camera with 4K video recording capabilities. The Pixel 8 also has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and macro focus, while the Pixel 8 Pro offers a three-lens system, including a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, and optical zoom.

The cameras come with new features such as "Best Shot" that combines group photos for the best image, and a "Magic Editor" that allows advanced adjustments to images. As for video recording, the "Real Tone" function has been introduced for accurate reproduction of skin tones and a "Magic Eraser" to eliminate annoying noises in the audio.



The devices have more immersive screens and high refresh rate panels. They also have support for face unlock and the Pixel 8 Pro includes a temperature sensor. In terms of performance, they use the Tensor G3 processor and the Titan M2 security chip.


Additionally, Google has announced new features such as "Proofread" to check grammar and spelling, "Magnifier" to enlarge images, and "Guided frame" to recognize objects.

In terms of battery, the Pixel 8 has a capacity of 4575 mAh and the Pixel 8 Pro 5050 mAh, with 30 watt fast charging.

The highlight is that these devices will have seven years of software updates and support component replacement to extend their useful life. They will be available in the international market starting October 12, with prices starting at $699 for the Pixel 8 and $999 for the Pixel 8 Pro.
